What is Visiting Library Service (VLS)?

Visiting Library Service offers Library materials and staff assistance to Ajax residents who cannot visit a branch in person, due to illness, injury, or other circumstances. Long-term, seasonal (December to March), and temporary service (minimum 8 weeks) is available.

What type of items can I get delivered to me?

Library staff select materials based on your interests delivered by a volunteer each month to your home or at long-term care/retirement residences. Selections can include books (regular and large print), magazines, audiobooks, CDs, DVDs, and CNIB DAISY Talking Books.

How do I sign up?

If you are interested in registering for Visiting Library Service, please complete the Visiting Library Service Application Form below or visit any Ajax Public Library location for assistance.
